Not being widely  reported is that the recent resignation of METI minister. It is being said it was  orchestrated by the bureaucrats of METI, the LDP, the Yomiuri, Sankei and the Kisha Clubs, plus Tepco because he took the non binding 1 MS of radiation exposure, previously a binding 20 MS, and made it binding. He also called for moving away from nuclear power.

11 September 2011 marks ten years since the 9/11 attacks on New York and Washington DC.  However, I would also like to call attention to the date, 20 September, which marks ten years since the United States entered its present condition of perpetual war.  It was on 20 September 2001 that then U.S. President George W. Our Nationwide Soil Testing Project has begun!

As our first work of our Nationwide Soil Testing Project, we tested soil samples from 150 areas in the Tokyo metropolitan area. This project is the first unified investigation on the diffusion of radioactive particles in the metropolitan area including Tokyo, Chiba, Saitama, Kanagawa, and Ibaraki prefectures, whereas the national and local governments are separately performing their investigations.
