	レポート：NY市警が、共和党大会にむけて大規模な国内・国際スパイ作戦を展開していたことが明るみに NY市警は、2004年の共和党全国大会に向けた期間、大規模な国内・国際スパイ作戦を展開していました。日曜日にNYタイムズが報じたところによると、 米国内やカナダ、ヨーロッパに秘密捜査員が派遣され、NYでの抗議行動に参加する計画のある団体や個人のスパイ活動を行っていたということです。この ニュースを明るみに出したNYタイムズの記者、ジム・ドワイヤーと話します。

NY市警と市民的自由弁護士とのディベート：抗議者たちを警察がスパイすることの是非 NYタイムズが報じたところによると、NY市警察官は米国内、カナダ、そしてヨーロッパ各地を訪れ、2004年の共和党全国大会で抗議行動をする 計画のある人々をスパイしました。NYPDのスポークスパーソン、ポール・ブラウンと市民的自由弁護士のジェスロ・エイゼンシュタインとのディベートをお 送りします。さらに、数百名にのぼるNY市警の監視対象者のひとりとも話します。ジョシュア・キンバーグは、共和党全国大会で逮捕され、また4ページに渡 る監視記録をとられていました。
