| 2007 JULY 25 - JULY 31 To our readers: JCP on House of Councilors election results The JCP won three seats in the national proportional representation constituency, a decrease of one, but it maintained its position by receiving about 4.4 million votes (7.48 percent of the total votes cast), up from the 2004 and 2001 Upper House elections.
