The Coalition Against Discrimination by the Prefectural University of Kumamoto is continuing  to collect signatures for our petition, which calls upon the Prefectural government and the Prefectural University of Kumamoto (PUK) to work actively toward a mutually satisfactory  resolution of the dispute between PUK and two foreign teachers who lost their full-time jobs at the university because PUK refused to grant them the job security that would be accorded automatically to Japanese nationals doing similar work.
