———————————————————————————————————————-

TokyoProgressive has been doing what we do for many years, and hopefully it is a little easier to find stuff now that we have, as of October 2011, reorganized the site.  Most of what you need can be found on the top page, but most sections have their own page as well.  The links here take you to the dedicated pages, but please look for them on the top For example, on the front page (top and center), you can find highlighted stories. In the right column you can find:

You can subscribe to the newsletter, to be informed of the most recent changes: Register/

1) Or, you can use this RSS feed for your newsreader and get updates as they  happen:

rss

2) All stories by month  These are stories that go back to 2009, when we made our first major revision. Another way to browse these stories is though the broad topic areas at the top of the page.

  • Environment/環境
  • Gender/
  • Globalization/
  • Japan/Asia/
  • Japanese/日本語
  • Media/
  • Social Justice/
  • War/Empire/

Each of these pages has, at the bottom, sub-topcs by which the stories are arranged.

3) Archives These are divided into 3 sections based on different generations of the site. The first has links, many of them old, some current, on the following major topic ares: Article 9 & Peace/日本国憲法第9条/平和, Death Penalty, EnvironmentFood safety/Health,  Globalization and World Economy, Gender and Sexuality, Homelessness and Freeters, Human Rights/Japanese Minorities & History/人権,日本のマイノリティ&歴史, Japan Alternative Media/日本のオルタナティブ・メディア,    Labor,  Nuclear Power, Translation: Chomsky, etc. in Japanese 翻訳: チョムスキーなど. War on Terror, Middle East. The second has stories that appeared here between 1997 and 2008-2009 on themes such as 日本語  News, Environment,  Gender,  Globalization,  Japan/Asia,  Alt. The 3rd is is similar to the 2nd, but is organized by date from 2007 back to the beginning.

4) Recent links

5) Videos

6) At the very bottom of the main page you can find feeds from other web sites in both Japanese and English.

7) Readers are encouraged to send in comments and original articles, links, etc. These will be published at our discretion, with the primary criteria being whether they further debate on radiacl social change. Stories that are well written and which do not engage in personal attacks have the best chance of being published.
